Public attitudes to bans on factory farming and slaughterhouses in the United States

The survey measured attitudes towards animal farming with around 1,500 adults in the United States, census-balanced to be representative of age, gender,region, ethnicity, and income.

Note: This survey was replicated by researchers at Oklahoma State University, and found similar results. It asked participants "Were you aware that slaughterhouses are where livestock arekilled and processed into meat, such that, without them, you would not be able to consume meat?". 73% said yes.
